Studyhoop is currently in open alpha version, which means it is in active development and all features are subject to change. The services provided as part of the alpha version are free of charge and are provided as is.

We do not guarantee the availability of the services. We take security very seriously and strive to be up to date with security best practices to the extend of our abilities. We do not take responsibility for any data loss or security breaches. By using Studyhoop, you agree to these terms. While we do our best to provide a safe and secure service, we cannot guarantee that the service will be free of bugs or security vulnerabilities.

While Studyhoop is in alpha mode, below are the policies in effect:

• We track your usage on Studyhoop using cookies for your current user session. These cookies are required to login and use the site.
• We use Posthop for website analytics.
  • Personal data such as your IP address and approximate location is collected for aggregate analytics purposes.
  • The collected analytics data is not and cannot be tied to your user account.
  • We do not, and never will share this data with third parties.
  • We use this data to understand how users are using the site and to improve the service.
• We do not and never will sell your personal data.
• Local storage, a feature similar to cookies is used to store unique IDs for the bug reporting platform we use, posthog. We also store your theme (light, dark) preferences using this feature.
• You own your data and can delete all your content and your account at any time. You can contact us at any time if you need assistance to do so.
• We are working on a feature to enable exporting of your data. Until this feature is released, you can contact us to export and email you this data.
• We do not take responsibility for any harmful or dangerous content posted by users. We rely on the community to report such content. We also do our best to moderate public content. Spam, harmful, or abusive content will be removed.
